Hi Robin. In both Ontario and Quebec, where I've lived, it's always been the May Two-Four weekend (Victoria Day), as we call it, to plant the annuals into the garden. A friend of mine lives nearer to you, though, in Victoria BC, and is able to plant earlier than me. Just when we think there won't be any more frost to kill the tomatoes, you never know...Earlier this week, there was snow around here! My tomatoes are getting a little tall for their little pots. I'll have to figure out what to repot them into until May 2-4.
