Growing season of 2012 was not as pleasant as I had hoped. Out of 12 different heirloom tomato plants and several that re-seeded from last year, only a few produced. I brought 3 separate plants into the house before the frost hit, one is the Cream Sausage Paste Tomato, Black Cherry and Pineapple Tomato. They're slowly turning color on the vines however, they're not as tasty as they would be. Still good but....I did start all of my plants from seed and again we had a late spring. I feel badly about the poor tomatoes that had gotten a late start, like late July towards the end of August. They had lots of green fruit but weren't able to turn before the super cold. Sigh. It's never the same however, I'm looking forward to next year.
