Red Hill Hollow is living up to the name. The entire front yard has now been re-landscaped. No more grass. So far, mostly flowers are planted in the gardens (mostly local native) but I am planning to slowly slip in edibles. I have a dwarf cherry tree planted. Right now it's very dwarf! There is a grapevine at the fence, and there are ferns that will produce fiddle heads in the spring. In the backyard, the 'farm' is producing. Today we have baby new potatoes, fresh from the ground into the pan, and baby summer squash, along with many squash blossoms, which I love to sauté. Yum! We also got a handful of berries. Ain't life grand in the summer time?
