Hi Quinn. Interesting that you only had 1 tomato. I thought they would like it pretty hot. Come to think of it, though, when we had a heat wave and dry conditions last year, we had very few tomatoes. This year I have more but, for the number of plants I have my crop should be more like folks who live on the hill. I think I would have more fruit if the plants were not so big and if I didn't cram all the plants into one raised bed. I start my tomatoes inside in early spring. I think next year I all start them earlier, plant fewer (since they need a lot of nutrients) and I will prune the plants to try to get them to be less lanky and leafy so they will concentrate more on their fruits. Sound like a plan?
