It has been a busy month and a very rainy one too here in New Jersey. I did manage to get my started lettuce, kale, brocolli, brussel sprouts, cabbage and peas into the ground 10 days ago. I'm hoping all this rain will make them pop. My husband and I also picked up some blueberry bushes two days ago, I am so excited! More things I can make jam out of. I am currently eating my last strawberry jam from last year, so I almost made it thru the winter with my stores. I do still have one jar of kraut left, which I am saving for the first hot dog of the summer season:)The strawberry patch is already sporting some flowers and there is lots of new growth, so here's to a great berry season!
I hope everyone is enjoying this spring. It certainly is exciting to be back in the thick of it, I know I always feel better when I'm back in the garden. Happy Spring to all.
