Those gigantic cucumbers in my grandkids' laps are Armenian cucumbers. The taste is quite good, the skin is quite thin, seeds almost as thin as the skin. They can grow up to 3 feet long, but I don't usually let them get up that big. They are great fresh, in salads and make the most amazing pickles (because of their size, they command attention at the picnic table and family gatherings!). Be careful, they will cross-pollinate with your other cucumbers and give you a weird, but just as tasty combination cuke. The colors will streak and combine and it will look weird, be bigger than the regular ones, but they'll be just fine.
