Crops: Basil, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cherries, Collards, Cucumbers, Filbert (Hazelnut), Garlic, Grapes, Green beans, Lavender, Lettuce, Mint, Oregano, Peas, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Raspberries, Rosemary, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Sugar Snap Peas, Thyme, Tomatoes

Animals: Cats, Dogs, Ducks

Why I'm Getting Dirty: Seams like I have grown a garden all my life.. I can't imagine life with out fresh vegies. Its amazing how much you can grow in such a small space. Its a great feeling at the end of the season to look in the Pantry and see all the Jars of food, and in the Freezer and see all the great vegies and herbs put by. You know where it was grown and what is NOT on it.

Thanks! I finally figured out how to add more photo's. The goal for this year is to add a heritage turkey to the flock. I tried chickens last year, but would of had to coop them to keep them from eating the garden, and the neighbors gardens. will stick with ducks and their nice 2 ft. fence. I also want to try some new varieties of canning tomatoes. Something that does not turn to mush and is an early maturing variety. Preferably Heirloom. Any suggestions? Is everyone going over their seed catalogs with a hot cup of herbal tea? :)
