Farmer in the City





Location:  Guelph, ON

Day Job:  barista

The Digs:  Containers, Other, Rooftop

Crops:  Basil, Carrots, Garlic, Green beans, Kale, Mint, Peas, zuchinni,

Animals:  Cats, Rabbits

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I wanted to make my appartment self sufficient. I have a few rabbits and a cat. I wanted to have a garden for my rabbits, and my cat catches any pests that might wander in.

    Hey there lisachandler. Looks like you haven't visited here for a while. I'm interested to hear how things are going with your garden and your rabbits. Guelph is a great place for urban farming.

    Howdy and Happy New Year. I am trying a lot of different plants in containers. I think my biggest problem is that I over water. anyway, care to share successes and difficulties of crop growing in an apartment?

    I'm sure that your profile picture is not a roof top picture but it looks like a nice place to be. I have a front patio with container for flowers and my backyard garden is sometimes rabbit food but not grown for such.
