Trimmed the grape vines yesterday. They are growing so fast that it is hard to keep up. All three vines are covered with pollen and flower buds. It's important to keep the vines trimmed so that sunlight and air can get through. The light getting through the vines should be mottled sunlight. This is the first year that the vines have flowered like this. I'm excited about having a good crop this year. Pictures will be on my website's blog later today. www.mapletree-gardens.info

Congrats farmer! Nice setup you have. I'm not even putting in a garden this year. I just moved into a new house and with all the pacing, theres been no time to put up seeds. I'll set out some flowers this time (and the indigo I started) and be happy this year. The year the orchard is officially started!

Wow, you do it all. Backyard, community, containers, and front yard. I just have containers in the front and raised beds in the back yard.
