Congratulations on being named farmer of the day! I agree with Nebraska Dave. That is a great family picture in your profile. How did your garden do this year? How long is your growing season? I'm always a little jealous of people who can grow things like lemons and kiwi.

Hey FaithVillage, I hope everything is going well for you as we approach Spring. I spent the winter rebuilding my bathroom cabinets and removing a large aluminum awning from the front of the house (put up by the previous owner). I also spent a good bit of time planning the layout for my raised beds. I'm going to try to grow from seeds indoors. We'll see how it works out. While the rest of the Country was getting record snow, we got a few weeks of steady cold rain. Things were pretty soggy for a while. The last few days have been beautiful. Pollen is starting to cover everything, but it's bringing new growth. The azaleas and dogwoods are starting to bloom. My fig and loquat trees have new leaf buds, and my orange tree is starting to blossom. All of the live oaks in the area will drop and regrow their leaves in the next few weeks. It makes an ungodly mess, but everything is beautiful afterwards. I will wait until the March mess is cleaned up before I set up my new beds. I'm really looking forward to this years planting season! Talk to you soon. Take care and have a great day!
