Crops:  Basil, Blackberries, Blueberries, Bok-choy, Broccoli, Carrots, Chile Peppers, Collards, Jalepeno Peppers, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Mint, Mustard Greens, Oregano, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Rosemary, Spinach, Strawberries, Thyme, Tomatoes, Quinoa, Amaranth, Rue, Cilantro, Thai Basil, Marijuana

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I consider myself a "political farmer". I don't feel safe with our current government and the financial situation. I believe that it is critical to have a means to provide food for my family should it become necessary.

    congrats on farmer of the day! i LOVE your day job--my husband was a stay at home Dad for about 6 months and it was a great time for his relationship w/ our daughter!

    Good morning - I don't think of it so much as political farming as anti-political farming myself. no matter what happens in this ever more frighting world I want to know i have the means to provide for my family, friends and community. Anyway have a great day and I am glad to see like minded folks on the left coast!!

    I'm not to sure exactly what a political farmer is but I do agree that we should have a means of providing food for our families "when" it becomes necessary.
