Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Celery, Chile Peppers, Collards, Cucumbers, Figs, Green beans, Kale, Lavender, Lettuce, Mushrooms, Oregano, Peas, Potatoes, Raspberries, Rosemary, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Sugar Snap Peas, Thyme, Tomatoes, Walnuts

Animals:  Chickens

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I like knowing where my food comes from and that it is fresh and clean and healthy! We are hoping for bees this spring!

    Good morning from Lexington! How are the figs working out? Do you bring them indoors for the winter or mulch heavily instead? I'd love to have figs but haven't tried growing them yet so I'd be thrilled to hear more about your attempts since we're in the same area.

    Congrats on being farmer of the day. I too have containers in the front and five rasied garden beds in the backyard.
