Farmer in the City

Friends

Sasha

Location:  Seattle, WA

The Digs:  Other

Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Collards, Kale, Lettuce, Mustard Greens, Rosemary, Thyme, Tomatoes

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  My husband and I are passionate about food. We got fed up with having to buy quality foods from places like Whole Foods, and so my husband designed a brilliant indoor garden for our 800 sq feet apartment that is awesome! I love that I never have to see my fresh basil go bad again, I can just walk across the room and pick it FRESH! We are also proud founders of the Panya Project, a sustainable farm in Northern Thailand where we offer permaculture courses. www.panyaproject.org

It would be great to see what your indoor garden looks like since so many of us are suffering outdoor garden withdrawal in these winter months. I'm going to check out your website on permaculture in Thailand.
