Location:  Austin, TX

Day Job:  Development Consultant

The Digs:  Backyard

Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Chile Peppers, Chinese cabbage, Corn, Garlic, Green beans, Jalepeno Peppers, Lettuce, Mint, Peas, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Rosemary, Spinach, Strawberries, Thyme, Tomatoes

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I mostly grew up in inner-city Chicago, but over the years I traveled around the world with the Army. Whenever I had a chance to get local fresh foods I jumped at it and always found it to make the best meals. Getting back to the states I sought out CSAs and tried my had at organic gardening and find it very soothing and meditative. I love sinking my hands into the soil and feeling the texture of it.
