Crops: Basil, Bell Peppers, Bok-choy, Carrots, Chile Peppers, Chinese cabbage, Collards, Corn, Cucumbers, Green beans, Kale, Lettuce, Mint, Oregano, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Rosemary, Spinach, Squash, Sugar Snap Peas, Thyme, Tomatoes, Jamaican pumpkin, various herbs, beets & Asian vegetables

Animals: 1 pet family dog

Why I'm Getting Dirty: To connect with nature, produce my own organic vegetables and to participate in the community garden movement (I take my young grandson to the garden in his wagon.

Congrats on being farmer of the day.

I too have containers on the front patio and raised garden beds in the backyard but I don't community garden .... yet.

It's never to young to get them started in gardening is it? I have a six year old grandson but he doesn't seem to be too interested in gardening .... yet. Hopefully more exposure to plants and growing this year will spark his interest.
