Day Job:  educator

The Digs:  Backyard, Containers, Front yard

Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, Lavender, Mint, Oregano, Raspberries, Rosemary, Squash, Thyme, Tomatoes, Walnuts, sage, chives

Animals:  Dogs, Monarchs

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I grew up in my dad's garden. I love interacting with the Earth and Mother Nature. My kids and I enjoy eating food we have tended and watched grow. We also love releasing monarchs that I raise from caterpillars in my milkweed patch.

    There's no better way to educate kids than to teach them to grow and eat things from the garden.
