Congrats on being farmer of the day.

I do have a small compost pile for some of my smaller uses but it's not something that I'm too good at maintaining.

Have a great farmer of the day.

I'm so happy so see a fellow houstonian as farmer of the day. I, too, live in Houston, and I am about to imbark on my first chickens. They were hatched yesterday and I can't wait to get started!

my blue heeler cornered a snake right next to our back door yesterday. he came to the rescue of our cat who was 'paralysed' with fear. it's the first time we've heard him snarl. he keep the snake at bay until we could take action, but had the sense to not get too close. we also had one less egg than normal yesterday. wonder if it's related.
