Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Bok-choy, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Chile Peppers, Chinese cabbage, Corn, Green beans, Jalepeno Peppers, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lavender, Lettuce, Melons, Mint, Oregano, Peaches, Pears, Peas, Potatoes, Rosemary, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Thyme, Tomatoes, Asparagus, Bhut Jolokia Peppers, Tomatillos

Animals:  Chickens

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  Organic, locally grown food, escaping outdoors and experimenting... this year: straw bale gardening, bhut jolokia peppers, a couple dwarf fruit trees and, hopefully, chickens for eggs!

    The chicks have arrived. The coop is almost complete and we're going to be participating in the Windy City Chicken Coop tour on 9/25!
