Day Job:  Interior Landscaper

The Digs:  Backyard

Crops:  Apples, Basil, Bell Peppers, Blackberries, Blueberries, Collards, Grapes, Green beans, Jalepeno Peppers, Pecans, Rosemary, Tomatoes

Animals:  Cats, Dogs

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  My father was a avid gardener & prehaps this is one of the reasons why everytime I buy produce at the grocery store Iam dissapointed by the flavorless, stale taste. This is the reason why I started gardening & of course I grew to love it. Iam all about getting back to nature & simple, clean living. My current goal is to leave the city life & buy alittle cabin in the mountains & own a local foods based resturant.

    Thank you for sharing your goals and dreams. SInce I live in my dream house, and it's in the city, my plan is to make as much of my yard, front and back, as I can so that my dream home also becomes my dream urban farm. I also dream about a farm in a smaller town but, since I like to be close to work, I've chosen instead to live in a village setting within the city. Streetsville, a village in the city of Mississauga, has been preserved nicely as a place where you can live, work, and walk to most everything you need, which helps in the living green goal.

    I love your profile picture, by the way. How does that picture work. The trees have lost all their leaves. How does the flower get into the picture?
