Crops:  Basil, Bell Peppers, Blueberries, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Chile Peppers, Garlic, Jalepeno Peppers, Kale, Lemons, Mint, Rosemary, Squash, Turnips, Perennial spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatillos, beets, ginger, lemongrass, grapefruit, limes, epazote, papalo, culantro, eggplant, tarragon, sage, pineapple sage, pineapple guava, pineapple, asparagus, strawberries

Animals:  worms, hens again soon,

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  Urban farming makes it possible to balance an already meager budget. Bringing veggies back to the inner city is what our community needs to grow jobs, healthy relationships, civic pride and responsibility. Who wouldn't want some of that?

    Thanks for the comment! Permaculture, is great for a lazy man like me... lol. Once there permaculture system is going, it requires very little work to maintain it.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

    Thanks for the kind words. Gotta get up and out to finish our holiday bird on the grill. So cool that all of the herbs that cost us an arm and a leg at the grocery store are now readily available from the yard. Gonna gobble up some holiday goodies in a few.

    Grilled turkey, sweet potato pone, macaroni and cheese, brown rice stuffing, spinach, rolls, pumpkin and pecan pies, and maybe a blueberry dump cake. What's everybody else having?
