Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I love working in the garden. Taking care of the land and receiving its blesing in return.

    The mead is nice. We made a few melomels (Fruit meads) with thimbleberries and plums from our garden, a pyment (grape mead) with some of our concord grapes and a show mead (pure honey, water & yeast).
    We think your dog is a beauty too....

    Thanks Misplaced, for the compliment to my root vegetable crop. That was a fun day. It was time to finally pull up all the root vegetables and see what they looked like. It's so difficult to wait, and all you can see, along the way, is a little bit of the top of the root. They were sweet and yummy!

    Thanks ..we are in the process of completing a second grow box that will be next to the one we have that will double our growing space .We had a very succesful fall garden for our first one and learned a few things that sahould help the spring be better ...I will post some new photos soon.

    The grilled watermelon was pretty tasty, it goes over well with only a handful of family and friends though. Some people believe it's just wrong to heat up watermelon or put anything other than salt on it. LOL
