Our backyard farm

Location:  Columbus, OH

Day Job:  Retail Manager

The Digs:  Backyard, Containers

Crops:  Vegetables and fruits

Animals:  We're looking into getting a couple of chickens.

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  We want to be more self sufficient. I've always grew a few tomato plant, this year all my gardens have vegetables and most of our flower pots now hold peppers of different varieties. It's a great feeling to know you can provide for yourself and your family. My husband and daughters also like to hunt and I'm learning how to can.
