Thank you everyone for your very cool comments. This is my first time out planting a veggie garden. Jenna my picture is an echinacea flower. I was at the Memphis Botanical Gardens last year an took this photo on my cell phone. And thank you for wanting to be friends. Red Hill Hollow, due to the extreme heat of 100 plus degrees, I wasn't able to save my zucchini. Hence the reason I ordered the Urban Farm Magazine.
Being Farmer of The Day is such an honor. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Pictures are soon to follow. Please feel free to add me as a friend. One Love!

I agree with Jenna. That's a great photo. How did your zucchini do this year? It can be a very prolific producer, and it seems that those who grow it are always looking for some new way to cook it, bake it, etc. I grew a couple of patty pan summer squashes, mostly because I love to eat the flowers. They're just starting to really produce now because the hot dry weather delayed them but I'm enjoying a handful a day right now, some squash and some just flowers.

Thank you for accepting my friend request.
I like your profile picture. Is that an echinacea flower? It sure looks like one! Do you have any pictures of your garden? I would love to see some.
I have not really started my garden yet, but I have begun to do the prep work for it... lol
