Crops:  Bell Peppers, Blackberries, Blueberries, Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, Chile Peppers, Garlic, Jalepeno Peppers, Lettuce, Rosemary, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Sugar Snap Peas, Tomatoes

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I love self-sufficiency, fresh food, and, yes, digging in the dirt!

    Ugh ! I forgot to log in and lost almost 5200 points!! Grrr! On the bright side, though, made some really awesome chili with peppers, chiles, and tomatoes from the front yard. Mmmm.

    Thanks! I spent all day yesterday prepping my yard, getting some rosebushes in, and starting my cauliflower, jalapeno, and spinach seeds (I use peat pellets in a small greenhouse tray for that). So I wasn't online yesterday at all - what a nice surprise to get that email this morning, "farmer of the day". I like the sound of that. :)
