The Digs:  Backyard

Crops:  Broccoli, Carrots, Green beans, Lavender, Lettuce, Peas, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Thyme, Tomatoes

Animals:  Cats, Dogs

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  I am becoming more and more afraid of our nation's food! I would love to sustain a garden for my family's needs. I am first time gardener this year. I am really happy to finally get my fingers in the dirt!

    Thanks for posting on my page. When I get to Raleigh, I may just start out with some containers, like grow boxes. Then I may graduate to raised beds, and hopefully the clay won't be too much of an issue with them. We'll see;)
