Hey thanks for the reply. Well our weather has been out of wack this year. It's been awful warm until this evening. Now it's starting to cool off. It's been a blessing because we are trying to finish repairs on the barn before we bring the sheep in from pasture on Saturday. A .couple of long days to meet the deadline. Kind ,of a short season for growing here. .We live right on the coast. So we are the last to get cold and then the last to warm up in the spring. Depends how fast the ocean warms up. I'm originally from the Buffalo N.Y. Area. So snow is a little less then what I grew up with.. But it was a great place to raise a family. It's also a great place for fresh seafood. Sad to say I'm a pasta and protein type. Have a wonderful day and keep in touch, Kevin and Sandy Haj

Wonderful set-up! Your tomatoes are so large - what kind are they?

I love your pictures. Your digs look amazing. Most exciting for me is the summer squash. Last summer, I discovered how amazing the flowers are to eat, so this summer I'm growing some myself (bought them at the market last year). Can't wait!

Congratulations on being farmer of the day!

    Jeanne,
How are things going in your garden? I am going to the nursery today to start buying fall veggies. The weather is starting to get hot here so I will need to be careful about what I purchase right now. I harvested two eggplants so far. Both were very yummy! My "currant" tomato plant looks like it needs to be harvested soon. I already chopped down the corn stalks and the green beans are just dying out. Do you know how to keep cats out of a garden? My cat recently started using mine as a litter box...grrr! Hope all is going well for you.
    Lori
