Why I'm Getting Dirty: The whole family loves it, we get to eat our homegrown healthy produce & it gets us out of the house.

I was thrilled to see your page. I'm new to Farmer in the City, but I'm no stranger to Brooklyn. Although I have lived in California for many years now, I was born in Brooklyn and spent the first 20 years of my life within a 30 mile radius of the old apartment on 18th Avenue. It's nice to see that your family is helping to make sure that many things of beauty still grow in Brooklyn. Congratulations!

I too have front yard containers and backyard raise garden beds.
