  I notice that your Echinacea look happy and healthy. When you mentioned that your lavender were not doing well, it made me think of 1) sun, 2) soil-is yours more acidic in your area? That might be why the lavender did not do well. The "Sweet" variety is pretty hardy and so is the "Goodwin Creek" They might do better in a little shade and with a more acidic soil.

  A florist that grows a garden. Imagine that. :0) Your Echinacea flowers look great. I could never keep mine up. A strong wind would always blow them down so I quit growing them.
