RYC: I would have liked to have purchased more acres but we would have had to go into debt and we are afraid to! I love the Backyard Homestead book as it is the reason we are moving ahead with such a small homestead.

Hi! You must have a huge back yard! We're working towards more livestock. We both still work full time jobs so we don't want in over our heads. Soon, very soon :D
    Congratulations on your awards!

Hi Country Farm. Yes, I had heard of Hobby Farms before but not the Dog Channel. Mostly, I was familiar with Urban Farm magazine from the newsstand. I joined Urban Farm Online in 2011. I love the magazine and I enjoy connecting with other likeminded individuals who are interested in a more sustainable lifestyle.
