Location:  Antioch, IL

Day Job:  Housewife, Mom, writer, chicken and beekeeper!

The Digs:  Backyard, Other

Crops:  Herbs, garden vegetables and fruits-heirloom varieties if I can get them, cut flowers and roses.

Animals:  Chickens, Italian honey bees

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  It's what to do with your hands when you don't have any reins in them! Plus, our family enjoys living the simple life by producing our own vegetables, eggs and honey along with canning and baking from scratch.
