Location:  Claremont, CA

Day Job:  Archaeologist

The Digs:  Backyard

Crops:  Heirloom tomatoes (multiple varities), garlic, lettuce, okra, herbs, peppers (bell and hot), amaranth, summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers, sunflowers, hops (4 kinds), fig, guava, citrus, plum, grapes, raspberry, black berry, onions, potatoes, corn, lakota squash, chard, spinach

Animals:  2 buff orpington, 2 ameracuan, rescue / battery bird, angora rabbit, fish for aquaponics garden

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  To give my son a connection to the food we eat.

    I just finished cutting down all my strawberry popcorn and its drying in a bin.

    Now I need to figure out what to plant now that I have some space again.
