Congratulations for being Farmer Of The Day! And, my vote for you.

I like the arbor type trellis. 'Cept the site seems to be on the shady side. Area looks very similar to one part of my yard. What time of the day was the picture taken? Also, I have a great plan for a raised bed if you're interested. One incorporating a 2 X 6 plank on the long side edges to sit on and a 3 foot high cross bar along the length of the bed to drape a clear plastic sheet for a season extender. It's not complicated at all to build. It was one of my sons' Boy Scout Eagle project for his brother's Kindergarten school. (Actually his, his siblings, & my wife's elementary school too!) It was created as the class' "outdoor science lab". Whereas, the kids used to take home the bean seed they started in a styrofoam cup, when my son created the raised bed, the kids were able to plant them just outside of their classroom. Since they did their planting side by side with their classmates, it even sparked a little competition on who can grow the best bean plant.

BTW, my son built two of them and they were 12' long by 4' wide by 16" high.

Thank You for making me farmer of the day! :) I am allergic to additives and preservatives so need to eat organic. (have Epi-pen) My husband, who never built anything took an idea I had in my head, and made these raised beds. They make it easier with my fibromyalgia to be able to sit on the edge. A friend suggested the cow panels (tractor supply, favorite store)as arbors to allow tomatoes and morning glories to grow up and over. Thanks again!

Congratulations on being named Farmer of the Day! One of your raised beds looks a bit like a cemetery plot with that interesting trellis.
