Farmer in the City





Location:  Houston, TX

Day Job:  Psychotherapist

The Digs:  Backyard, Containers, Front yard

Crops:  Basil, Bok-choy, Chile Peppers, Cucumbers, Green beans, Lavender, Lemons, Mint, Squash, Tomatoes

Animals:  Cats, Dogs, Unwanted Backyard Possum

Why I'm Getting Dirty:  Trying to find some peace in this crummy traffic ridden town.

    Hello fellow psychotherapist. We have had unwanted backyard possums as well in the past. My cats just let him eat their food. At least they don't carry rabies.

    Congratulations on being farmer of the day. We have possums, too, and raccoons. Last year I put netting around all my raised beds and managed to keep all the critters, including the squirrels, from eating the veggies before I could.
