Silkie
The breed comes in two varieties: bearded and non-bearded. Colors are black, white, partridge, buff, gray and blue.
Weight: 1 to 2 pounds
Urban Uses: Silkie chickens are primarily ornamental chickens, though they are also good layers. They are friendly and make good pets.
Egg Size: Small
Second Thoughts: Silkies need particularly clean conditions to keep their feathers looking good.
