San Antonio has some of the best anywhere. Pearl on Saturday and the Quarry on Sunday are tops. There's at least one every day of the week and many are organic growers.

The Dallas Farmers' Market has few local farmers' stalls. Many of the "local" farmers buy wholesale and are just resellers. Ask "what variety" and they have no idea.
There are some true farmers' markets located in the outlying cities which are much better.

Your information on Houston farmers markets is old & incorrect. The Urban Harvest Farmers Market is open year round; jackie left the organization 2 years ago; and it is but one of 6 certified farmers markets in the city each and every week.
