It's great that these folks are getting this training and that's it's helping to offset the cost of food. Farming has a calming influence on folks. How often do you hear about farmers doing things that will land them in jail? Farming changes attitudes about things.

It is always nice to see some good come out of bad situations.

I agree. This is a great idea. I hope it continues and spreading through out the correctional system. For me there's no better therapeutic way to sooth the soul.

This is a brilliant idea! I hope it catches on elsewhere. I work for my state's psychiatric hospital system (which gets its food from the same source as the prison system), and I can tell you the food is LOUSY. Growing fresh, organic food is great, and will improve these women's quality of life!
