I just attended a beginners workshop last week. It was fun and informative. I met a lot of nice people. I was fortunate enough to run into one of my former high school teachers and he is going to help me get started with equipment and a swarm!

My granddaddy kept bees, and although I was too scared of bees to watch too closely, it was fascinating to watch him dress up in his "bee suit" and work the hive. Now that I'm over my bee fear, this hobby really interests me! Good article!
