My does always pull hair before birth. For two reasons to give the babies a warm bed and thats there sign there milk has come in.if they have babies and dont pull hair thats not good.

My rabbits pull their hair out right before they birth. Outside of that they haven't. I like the article i have had rabbits for 2 years.

To Jada,
We breed Lionhead Rabbits for several years, and every time a doe would get ready to give birth she would pull out hair. Aside from that, our rabbits never pulled out hair. Just a little info from my personal experience.

Good info...does anyone have experience with your rabbit "barbering"?? This is where they remove large clumps of hair, either due to pregnancy, false pregnancy, or illness...
