People who are concerned with this issue need to both work to establish sane ordinances in their communities and support local efforts by buying at as many of these as you can. We have to support the idea and concept with our dollars. People who fight to get these ordinances and laws changed in favor of us having this choice need to be supported by the rest of us buying their produce. That's one of the best and certainly the easiest way to actively support those in the trenches of a City Hall Nightmare.

This would be great for urban farmers in my area. I hope other cities will model Kansas City. I'm in St. Louis, so maybe it wouldn't take much to get something like that passed. My husband and I are always trying to think of ways to expand our gardening without spending so much. So extra cash would be welcomed!

This is great. I hope other places allow it too.
