I don't know if I did something wrong but this came out bad. Maybe I needed to use a stronger flavered beer.

Stephanie,

You don't need to use a bread maker for this recipe because no kneading is necessary. You can just mix it and bake.

Is it possible to use a bread maker for this bread? If so, what settings should be used?

I went a head and made two loafs, we had enough left over beer from our Bounday Bay and still enough beer left over for my hubby to have one more glass. I also buttered my bread before I put my cheese on it to give that yummy glossy look, and used sharp cheddar cheese, just sounded yummy. It looks like this one is a wonderful keeper.

It couldn't get much easier than this to make bread. When the weather starts cooling off I have to give it a try.
