What a great idea! They should build greenhouses at every new location, and the old ones that have the space.

LIKE this idea very much! I believe this should be adopted by the company nationwide. This is a much needed service and concept for our urban communities. I will endorse this all over; Face Book, Twitter and all the social networks. Even send it out in the company communications to all your shareholders and drop this information to news networks as well.
It's about time a major food chain did something that not only makes sense but is socially responsible. Now maybe we can get more corporate entities to follow suit.
Congrats Whole Foods on your decision to step out and do something good for our communities.
Look up "Gardening Renaissance" on Facebook for more of ideas like this.
