Good for you, Bruce. Animals that "earn their keep" make sense in sustainable farming. And the bunnies are just as cute in countries where they are traditionally eaten, aren't they?

Having raised rabbits for food, I can certainly agree with your philosophy and share many of the same experiences with friends. It seems to me that the more the phrase "Ooooh, it's so cuuute!" applies, the less people are inclined to eating it. Not me. The more I like the way it tastes, the more inclined I am to raise it, prepare it and enjoy it.

My garden had the best fertilizer to raise their food, they had locally grown, fresh food, the skins paid for their supplemental feeds and my family had fresh, delicious meat in the freezer all year long. It was a win-win-win situation.
