That is so sad that "Jim" might have to give up Maddie. We are also in the same situation with our chickens so instead of diapers we are raising them in the basement. Here is the overview of how we do it..... http://clandestinechickens. blogspot.com/p/clandestine-chicken-care-overview. html

How about keeping a chicken in a large pet taxi? Or in the basement in a cage made of 2x4's and chicken wire.

Oh my goodness, chicken diapers? It's the first I've ever heard of diapers for chickens. It's a great idea for those that love their chickens but can't have pet chickens in their city. Being from a farming background I just never thought about chickens in the house. Well, chickens weren't really concidered pets when I was growing up on the farm. I hope your friend gets to keep his chicken as long as he wishes. We do get attached to our pets don't we?

Have a great chicken loving day.
