Our feeling is that ya just can't have too many pickles, or kinds of pickles! Our house staples include homemade olive oil refrigerator pickles with chipotle pepper flakes and homemade raspberry vinegar, and spicy Thai shredded carrot pickles, made with rice vinegar and fresh jalapeno (ok, that's not a Thai pepper, lol, but the recipe I fuind called for it and it's awesome.)

My grandson will be glad to hear that pickle are the passion. He eats about a gallon of dill pickles every couple weeks. He would eat dill pickles every meal if allowed. Well and old grandpop kinda sneaks a pickle or two along the way. I'm not too much a fan of sweet pickles. It's interesting that almost anything can be pickled and taste good. I plan on making pickles from the garden this year.

Have a great pickle day.
