I think it's admirable to want to put on a label the disclosure of where food comes from but always regulations seem to come with any government intervention. If only label information is involved I'd say yes a good thing but if regulation comes with it, I'd say no.

Local and state regulations need to always focus on the small producer first and the industro-food growers last. Unfortunately, most small producers don't have the resources to compete with the palm-greasing that the big guys have. That's why it's in our best interests to be careful who we elect and re-elect.
