Comments On - Figs Gone Wild

Thank you for the information on figs. I have a freind with a fig tree and I will try to start one from theirs.

I'm going to have to start that fig tree planting tradition here. Sounds wonderful.

Rick, I would have not thought about figs being the first culitivated fruit tree. It surprises me that foraging can be done in urban Italy. Although if I looked around, it probably could be done right here in my own urban area. Urban area fruit tree growers hardly ever had use all the fruit from a tree. One owner plants the fruit trees and sells the property to another that doesn't use the fruit. Hummm, thanks for the inspiration to scout the neighborhood for unused fruit from trees.

Have a great fig day.
