Times are tough. My brother is trying to find someone to adopt his 2 Arabian horses they've had 20+ years. Craigslist is full of animals people can no longer care for.

It's important that we take the appropriate level of care for all of our animals, regardless of whether or not they are "livestock" or "pets" or "a member of the family" or any other designation we want to apply. Our character soars or suffers a great deal based upon our treatment of our animals.

So glad he is going to a good home,it breaks my heart you can't keep him and I'm sad for you...I love reading ur blog and pray one day I'll also be able to have a nice little spot to have a horse or two sum chickens and a safe place for my cats and dogs to play outside...At least ur heart can be happy knowing he will always be loved by you and also his old owners who care enuf to take him back...Have a Great Day...Glenda in Kansas
