The best season for us is to plant seedlings in the garden around Thanksgiving time. We just got done putting them out last week and they are doing fine. We start them indoors and grow them there until they are about 6" tall. That way we beat the winds that shred everything tender and dry everything out.

Rick, I have a grandson that loves raw broccoli. I tried to grow some broccoli this fall but I suspect I didn't get it in the ground soon enough as it did get too big before growth stopped. I know it's a cold weather crop but mid 20s it a bit too cold for it. It hasn't succumbed to the cold but just quit growing. Ah, well, there's always next spring. I'll give it another try then.

Have a great day.
