Thanks for this article, I need to find some in the store and give them a try.

Rick, I have read a lot about Jerusalem artichokes over the years but I don't think I have ever tasted one. I've always read that they are a bit invasive. I've never considered growing them as I have always had a limited space but with my new purchase of property for next year I have a much bigger space to plan. I guess I'd have to find them to taste them before planting a bed. I don't know that many people eat those here in the midwest. I'm just brainstorming for next years garden. Thanks for reminding me about the Jerusalem artichokes.

Have a great Italian day.

Sounds like a great all-round winner! I guess I'll have to try some here in the desert. Did you grow them when you lived in Vegas?
