Fascinating. And sickening.

I have a hard time believing the majority of citizens in Buffalo County voted for Walker with all the fracking going on. In fact I don't think Walker actually won here.

There has been a ridiculously implausible red-shift beginning with the 2010 Gov. election and even more dramatic in the June 5 recall election.
It appears Walker gained most of his votes on the AVC Edge touchscreen machines, serviced by Command Central of St Cloud, MN. Example of election results from the City of Mondovi, which is one area that has traditionally leaned more GOP than other parts of the county:

ELECTION RESULTS IN CITY OF MONDOVI - JUNE 5, 2012 DEM BARRETT 423 GOP WALKER 465 = 888 Votes

ABSENTEE BALLOTS (fed through opscan):
BARRETT - 64 = 52.89%
WALKER - 57 = 47.1%
----------------------------------
ELECTION DAY BALLOTS (Fed through opscan)
BARRETT - 185 = 47.4%
WALKER - 205 = 52.5%
----------------------------------
TOTAL VOTES COUNTED BY OPSCAN (inc. absentees):
BARRETT - 249 = 48.7%
WALKER - 262 = 51.2%
____________________
TOUCHSCREEN VOTES (Based on certified totals)
BARRETT - 174 = 46.1%
WALKER - 203 = 53.8%

I don't understand how this can be allowed to happen.

I think if it is that serious of a health concern and the company is definitely moving into the area for good, then that company needs to pay for the construction of a brand new school somewhere else and also give something beautiful to that community.

It just makes me sick to think that once again a corporations profit comes first! Who cares about the health of future generations!

I'm not sure what to think of this. Are they trying to say that the sand is going to be in the air around the school? I wonder how true that is.
